What to do with contacts that have a "Bounced" status

If there is an error while deploying a marketing broadcast or automated sequence to a recipient, that email address will automatically be assigned a Bounced status inside your dashboard database.

Possessing a high volume of bounce errors drastically degrades your overall domain reputation, signaling to ISPs (like Google or Yahoo) that you are sending to outdated or unverified addresses. This can cause your legitimate emails to land in spam folders or be blocked entirely. To prevent this, SystemeScale automatically suppresses bounced contacts from receiving any further emails from your account.

How to identify and review bounced records

Bounced entries can be quickly identified by a small red Stop icon displayed immediately beside the email text string inside your contact grid layout view.

To inspect why a profile failed to accept your payload:

  1. Navigate to your main CRM tab and click on the Contacts index page.
  2. Locate the contact record and click directly on its accompanying red Stop icon.
  3. A contextual diagnostic overview modal will appear, detailing the exact server response logs and reason codes returned by the recipient's mail provider.

Isolating and purging bounced lists

While the automated suppression system protects your infrastructure from sending to dead lines, leaving thousands of bad profiles inside your database unnecessarily pollutes your workspace parameters. Senders should perform regular maintenance loops to keep the list clean.

1
Apply the Contact Status filter
Inside your master Contacts interface panel, locate the left sidebar management filters block and click on the Contact Status selector.
2
Query the bounced array list
Choose the Bounced value state option from the checklist. The platform will instantly compile and load every broken or invalid user email record currently mapped to your account.
3
Execute a permanent bulk deletion
Click the master top checkbox row to highlight the entire filtered batch array. Locate the options panel and select the bulk Delete action button to permanently strip the entries from your database.

Unintentional Bounces & Spam Flags

πŸ›‘
Spam Complaints Convert to Bounce Status
If a subscriber manually flags one of your broadcast newsletters as spam inside their webmail layout, our system records the feedback loop and automatically converts their internal profile to a Bounced status to isolate them from future lists.
πŸ“Œ
Reactivating False Positive Errors
Occasionally, an active subscriber might accidentally hit the spam button or trigger a temporary network routing bounce mistake. If you possess documentation verifying that an entry's status is a genuine error and they wish to opt back in, do not try to re-import them.

Instead, please open a ticket with our compliance agents so we can manually reactivate the email profile and remove them from the master block list.
