How to add audio to your page
In this article, you will learn how to add audio files and audio streams to your pages using the editor workspace.
What you will need:
- A SystemeScale account
- A page to edit
Step 1: Place the audio element on your layout
Adding an audio player is ideal for sharing podcast episodes, background tracks, product walkthrough recordings, or testimonials.

Drag and drop the audio element
Open your page editor canvas screen. From the elements menu panel on the left side, locate the Audio element, then drag and drop it onto your page layout.
Step 2: Configure your audio source settings
Once you drop the player onto your canvas, click directly on the audio element to show its customization settings panel inside the left sidebar.

Choose your audio source method
Find the Select audio source dropdown menu field inside the left configuration panel. Choose between two delivery methods:
Option A: Upload a local audio file from your device
- Select Upload audio file from the dropdown settings layout menu.
- Click on the cloud Upload icon to open your device library and choose your track asset.
Option B: Link to an external stream or file URL
- Select Direct link from the source dropdown configuration fields.
- Paste the destination web link path directly into the provided URL field row.

Supported media format rules
The platform natively supports loading and streaming the following standard digital audio formats:
- MP3 / MPEG / WAV / WAVE / X-WAV
- OGG / FLAC / X-FLAC
