How to create a master block
In this article, you will learn how to create a master block inside your page editor layout.
What you will need:
- An active SystemeScale account.
- A funnel page.
What is a master block?
A block is a grouping of elements and content that can be saved and reused on other pages.
A Master Block works exactly the same way, but with one key difference: any changes you make to it are automatically applied to every page where the block is used.
Example:
If a master block is on page A and reused on pages B and C, modifying an element within the block (such as text or color) updates it on pages A, B, and C automatically.
Step-by-step: Creating a master block
A master block can be created from any element on a page. In this example, we will save a page section as our master block asset.
1
Select your Section element
Click on the Section layout container inside your editor canvas to view its properties.
2
Click the Save block icon
Look at the top of the left configuration settings panel and click on the small floppy disk Save icon.

Critical Operational Deletion Rule
If you delete a Master block, it will be automatically removed from all pages where it is currently used because any changes to a Master block instantly affect every linked instance across your account. Once changes are saved, the old version of the layout cannot be restored.
