How to keep a section always visible on your page
In this article, you will learn how to keep a section of your page fixed in place using the sticky option parameter.
This feature ensures that the selected section remains visible to users as they scroll through your content, improving user experience by keeping key content accessible at all times.
What you will need:
- An active SystemeScale account
- A page layout template inside your editor canvas
Why use a sticky section container?
Making a page section sticky is highly useful when you want to:
- Keep main navigation menus accessible at all times.
- Highlight promotional announcements, active calls-to-action, or support chat channels.
- Improve overall user retention by removing the need for visitors to scroll all the way back up to jump destinations.
Step-by-step: Making a section sticky
Follow these simple structural adjustments inside your page builder:
1
Select your target Section block
Open your page editor builder workspace canvas. Click directly on the borders of the Section you want to keep locked in place to load its properties settings.
2
Locate and toggle the Sticky choice field
Scroll down the left configuration sidebar panel options to the Sticky options layout section. Check the box labeled Do you want this to always be visible? (sticky) to activate the property parameters.
3
Configure position alignment and indents
Once checked, two additional property rows will automatically display below the checkbox field:
- Content position: Choose whether the sticky section container sticks to the Top or the Bottom edge of the visitor's device screen.
- Indent: Use the slider controller or type a value into the number field box to add pixel spacing margins between the sticky section wrapper and the extreme edge of the screen frame.

Common Application Scenario
A popular use case for sticky sections is fixing an announcement banner or a support link badge (like a WhatsApp or help button component) locked precisely to the bottom of the screen with a 10px indent space to give it clean separation.

Cross-Functional Platform Availability
This structural layout feature is fully operational across both standard Sales Funnel steps and standalone Blog engine pages within your dashboard workspace.
