The course settings panel controls your course's name, domain, URL, theme, access type, and student dashboard configuration. Access it at any time after creating your course: Assets → Courses → your course → Settings.

General settings

  • Course name — the public title of your course as students see it in the course player and enrolment emails.
  • Domain — the domain where students access the course. Select any custom domain you have connected in Profile picture → Settings → Custom domains. See: How to connect a custom domain.
  • URL path — the URL slug for this course (e.g. /email-mastery). Use lowercase letters and hyphens. Cannot be changed after students have enrolled without breaking their existing bookmarks.
  • Theme — controls the visual appearance of the course player. Select from available themes to match your brand.

Access type

The access type determines how students receive content after enrolment. Three options:

  • Full access — all active lectures are immediately available upon enrolment. Best for self-paced courses.
  • Drip content — lectures unlock gradually based on the delay number set on each individual lecture. See: How to set up drip content.
  • Partial access — only specific modules are visible. Configure which modules per student at the time of enrolment or when editing a student's access.
⚠️
Changing access type does not affect existing students
Changing the access type only affects students who enrol after you save the change. Students already enrolled keep their current access. To change access for an existing student, go to the Students tab → three-dot menu → Edit access.

Student dashboard

The student dashboard is the page students land on when they log in — it shows all their enrolled courses. Settings here control the appearance and behaviour of that dashboard page. Changes affect all courses on the same domain.

SEO settings

In the course settings, you can set a meta title and meta description for the course's public landing page. This affects how the course appears in Google search results if the course page is publicly accessible.

Saving and applying changes

Click Save after making any changes. Changes to visual settings (theme, name) take effect immediately. Changes to access type apply only to new enrolments going forward.

💡
Set your domain and URL path before enrolling students
Once students are enrolled, changing the course URL path breaks any bookmarks or links they have saved. Set the final domain and URL path before your first enrolment and do not change them unless necessary.
