How to disable downloading of audio and video from course pages
In this article, you will learn how to prevent your students from downloading audio and video resources from courses they are enrolled in, helping you protect your intellectual property.
Step-by-step instructions

Access account settings
Click your profile picture in the top right corner of your dashboard, then select Settings.

Navigate to Course settings
Once in your settings panel, click Courses in the left menu sidebar.

Disable downloads
Locate and check the box labeled Disable downloading of audio and video from course pages.

Save changes
Click Save at the top or bottom of the page to apply your changes across your courses.

Student View
Once applied, your students will still be able to seamlessly stream and view the video and audio files directly on the page, but the native download controls will be completely removed.

Important Note on Course Types
The option to disable downloading of audio and video from course pages only works for classic courses and is not available for light courses.
