How to add a PDF file to a page
In this article, you will learn the exact process to securely bind a downloadable PDF document archive onto specific text phrases within your page templates.
What you will need:
- An active SystemeScale account.
- A funnel page layout step or dynamic course lecture page currently open inside the builder workspace.
Step 1: Constructing the Text Anchor
1
Place the Text Component Block
Navigate into your page builder canvas space. From the structural layout choices bar positioned on the left side menu, click the Text block element, drag it onto your canvas workspace, and position it directly in your layout.
Step 2: Linking and Uploading Your PDF Document
2
Open the Inline Link Configurations Modal
Use your mouse cursor to highlight the specific text characters or phrases meant to act as the direct call-to-action anchor (e.g., "Download Resource Guide"). This initializes the floating toolbar menu. Click directly on the chain-link link symbol icon.
3
Access the Document Manager Registry
Inside the small address modal window that opens, navigate to the right of the text URL field and click on the file upload arrow icon to deploy the file management window.
4
Upload or Select Your Asset File
Within the central asset center grid window, select your integration option:
- Upload file: Drop your target PDF file directly into the storage container box, or select a file to upload from your local device folder directory.
- Your files: Browse the directory inventory database rows and click to select a previously processed asset file already hosted inside your master account library.
5
Insert and Bind parameters
Highlight your targeted asset line item and click the Insert button to lock it to your chosen characters. Next, adjust your viewport navigation rule: configure whether to open the raw asset link thread inside a fresh window browser container layer or redirect the current tab workspace window. Click Confirm to complete the link loop.
Step 3: Committing Layout Code Updates
Once your document attachment loops settle safely, navigate to the primary platform toolbar header row positioned on the upper right corner area and click the green Save changes button block.
π¨
System Optimization and Code Rollback Scope
Clicking the master Save changes button instantly processes your page code and updates the platform servers. Once a save task completes successfully, historical configurations of your landing text layouts cannot be rolled back, recovered, or un-archived. Always verify download target pointers prior to saving.
