This guide walks you through the precise workflow required to generate a secure outbound API key within your SendGrid infrastructure and integrate it directly into your SystemeScale workspace settings.

What you will need:

  • A SystemeScale account
  • An active SendGrid account

Step 1: Create the API key in SendGrid

To provision a new delivery authentication token, execute these steps inside your external server console:

1
Access API configuration settings
Log in to your SendGrid service dashboard. In the left navigation sidebar, click on the Settings dropdown layer and select API Keys.
2
Initialize token generation
Click the primary Create API Key button located in the upper right workspace container.
3
Assign structural permissions
Assign an internal tracking Name to your new key. Under the permissions profile grid, explicitly choose the Full Access rule check. Click Create & View to execute token generation.
4
Secure your text token string
Click on the displayed text key block to automatically copy the raw string token directly to your clipboard.
⚠️
SendGrid String Exposure Guardrail
For absolute cloud security architecture compliance, SendGrid will display this raw API string exactly one time only. You must immediately paste and log this token string securely into your records before closing the layout view or selecting Done. If lost, the string cannot be unmasked later, requiring you to delete the record and provision a new token.

Step 2: Add the key to SystemeScale

Once your secure string is recorded, link your transmission engine framework inside your platform environment:

5
Navigate to native Email layout configurations
Open your SystemeScale dashboard. Click your profile picture icon in the top right utility header bar, enter the master Settings panel, and select the Emails tab on the left menu layer.
6
Map the token asset and save
Scroll down to locate the custom delivery loop settings. Check the operational box labeled "I want to use my own SendGrid API key". Paste your secure copied token string cleanly into the available input box field, and click Save to connect your external outbound relays immediately.

Infrastructure Tip
By integrating your private SendGrid transactional API key infrastructure, your email broadcasts bypass shared platform default pools entirely, giving you absolute control over outbound reputation metrics and sender deliverability parameters.
