How to connect your Infomaniak subdomain to SystemeScale
On this page, you will learn how to add DNS records to Infomaniak to connect your subdomain.
You will be able to add your subdomain, such as subdomain.domain.com, to SystemeScale and use it as a custom subdomain in your sales funnels and blogs, which is essential for your branding.
What you will need:
- A SystemeScale account
- A subdomain purchased from Infomaniak
Add your subdomain in SystemeScale first
After adding the subdomain in SystemeScale, you must access the DNS settings in your Infomaniak account.
example.sio-test.com is being connected to SystemeScale. Your own CNAME values will be generated inside your SystemeScale account.First, hover over your profile picture, click Settings, then go to Custom Domains and add your custom domain or subdomain.
First CNAME
Go to the DNS zone for your domain name, then click Add a record.
Select the CNAME type.
Enter example in the Source field, then enter d15zkq46nz2lc2.cloudfront.net. in the Target field. Finally, click Save.
example already exists, edit its target to d15zkq46nz2lc2.cloudfront.net.Second CNAME
Go to the DNS records for your domain.
Click Add a record and select CNAME as the type.
In the Source field, enter the text that appears before your domain name. In this example, use _386f0cf15ad8a1aae5d01547b374b5d8.example.
Then, enter _e1aa1ce627758238f11032c63a935a9c.zfyfvmchrl.acm-validations.aws. in the Target field. Finally, click Save.
Check your CNAME records
Once the two CNAMEs are correctly added to your host, you can check their status using DNS Checker.
To check your records, you must enter the full CNAME name, including your domain name, into the search bar.
You should see the same value you added next to a green checkmark. If not, the records have not been added correctly, and you need to check your DNS zone.
- CNAME verification 01: verify the CloudFront CNAME record.
- CNAME verification 02: verify the validation CNAME record.
Important notes
- It can take up to 24β48 hours for DNS records to propagate completely.
- Sometimes, your host may not be able to register a CNAME record due to a conflict with other existing DNS records. This usually happens when adding the first CNAME. If this occurs, contact your host support to determine if those existing records are necessary or if they can be safely deleted.
