This allows you to use your custom domain, such as www.domain.com, for your sales funnels and blogs, helping you establish a professional brand presence.

What you will need:

  • A SystemeScale account
  • A domain name purchased from Infomaniak
⚠️
Add the domain in SystemeScale first
Please follow the first step of the How to connect your domain to SystemeScale article before proceeding with this guide.

Add your root domain in SystemeScale first

After adding the root domain in SystemeScale, you must access the DNS settings in your Infomaniak account.

πŸ“
Each domain has unique CNAME records
Each domain added to SystemeScale has unique CNAME records that must be added to your host's DNS settings.
ℹ️
Example used in this guide
In this example, the domain www.sio-test.com is being connected to SystemeScale. Your own CNAME records will be generated inside your SystemeScale account.

First, hover over your profile picture, click Settings, then go to Custom Domains and add your custom domain.

First CNAME

Go to the DNS zone for your domain name, then click on Add a record.

Select the CNAME type.

Enter www in the Source field, then enter d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net. in the Target field. Finally, click Save to save the record.

πŸ“
If the www CNAME already exists
If a CNAME record with the name www exists, edit the target to d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net.

Second CNAME

Go to the DNS records for your domain. Click Add a record and select CNAME as the type.

In the Source field, enter the text that appears before your domain name. In this example, use _93ab7c5624fec19e93d52753aa4f3b54.

Then, enter _ff9eef82c4a4a845d06597452f57f392.zfyfvmchrl.acm-validations.aws. in the Target field. Finally, click Save to save the record.

⚠️
Use your own generated records
The CNAME values above are examples. Copy the exact records shown in your own SystemeScale account for the domain you are connecting.

Check your CNAME records

Once the two CNAMEs are correctly added to your host, you can check their status using DNS Checker.

To check your records, you must enter the full CNAME name, including your domain name, into the search bar.

You should see the same value you added next to a green checkmark. If not, the records have not been added correctly, and you need to check your DNS zone.

  • CNAME verification 01: verify the www CNAME record.
  • CNAME verification 02: verify the validation CNAME record.
βœ…
Verify both CNAME records
Check both the first CNAME and the second validation CNAME. Both should resolve correctly before you expect the domain connection to work.

Add a forwarding rule

Go to the DNS section for your domain name, and click Web Redirections, then Add a redirection for your domain.

Select https://.

Enter www.domain-name.com in the Destination URL field. In this example, use www.sio-test.com.

Select Permanent (301). Finally, click Confirm to save.

πŸ”
Redirect root traffic to the www version
The forwarding rule sends visitors from the root domain to the www version that is connected with the first CNAME record.

Important notes

  • It can take up to 24–48 hours for DNS records to propagate completely.
  • Sometimes, your host may not be able to register a CNAME record due to a conflict with other existing DNS records. This usually happens when adding the first CNAME. If this occurs, contact your host support to determine if those existing records are necessary or if they can be safely deleted.
