An eBook (PDF guide, workbook, or digital document) is one of the simplest digital products to sell on SystemeScale. There is no specific eBook product type β€” you sell it by attaching the file delivery to an order form purchase using an automation rule, then driving buyers to a sales funnel.

Step-by-step: selling an eBook

1
Upload your eBook file
Assets β†’ Files β†’ Upload your PDF β†’ Save. Alternatively, you can upload the file directly when creating the delivery email attachment in Step 4.
2
Create a Sell-type funnel
Sites β†’ Sales funnels β†’ Create β†’ Sell. See: How to create a funnel.
3
Design the sales page
Edit the Sales page step β€” describe the eBook, its benefits, and who it is for. Include the price and a clear CTA button.
4
Set up the order form
Click the Order form step β†’ offer type: Digital product β†’ Add resource β†’ choose a Tag (e.g. "eBook Buyer") β†’ create a price plan with the eBook price. See: How to create an order form.
5
Add the delivery automation
Automations β†’ Rules β†’ Create. Trigger: New sale (your order form) β†’ Action: Send email (with the eBook PDF attached). See: How to deliver digital products automatically.
6
Design the thank-you page
Add a Download button on the thank-you page so buyers can access the eBook immediately on purchase β€” they do not have to wait for the email. See: How to set up a thank-you page.
7
Test and publish
Make a test purchase. Verify the thank-you page shows the download button and the delivery email arrives with the PDF attached.

Pricing your eBook

  • A well-positioned eBook solving a specific, urgent problem for a targeted audience can sell for $7–$97 or more.
  • Low-ticket eBooks ($7–$27) work well as entry-point offers β€” they create a buyer relationship that can lead to higher-ticket coaching, courses, or consulting.
  • Use an order bump to add a related template, checklist, or short companion guide for $17–$37 additional revenue per transaction.

Protect your eBook from forwarding by personalising it
For premium-priced eBooks, consider adding the buyer's name to the cover or first page using a custom PDF generation service. This makes buyers less likely to freely share it, as their name is visible on the document.
