This guide will walk you through creating a blog post using SystemeScale.

You will need:

  • A SystemeScale account
  • A blog

Access your blog

Navigate to Blogs on the Sites tab, then click on the title of your blog.

1
Open your blog dashboard
Go to Sites β†’ Blogs, then click the title of the blog where you want to create the post.

Manage the default posts

Once you are on your blog, go to the Posts section. You will notice that some default posts were created when you initially set up your blog.

To modify these posts, click on the three dots and select Edit, or click the post title directly. You can delete them by clicking Delete.

Default posts can be edited or removed
The default posts are only starter content. You can edit them for your own content or delete them before publishing your blog publicly.

Create a new blog post

To create a new blog post, click Create. A pop-up will appear, and you must fill in the input fields as follows:

  • Title: Enter the title of your post. This will appear as the post’s header.
  • Short description: Provide a brief description that will be shown on blog listing pages.
  • URL Path: Define the URL for your post.
  • Image: Upload or select an image to serve as the main photo for the post. It will also appear on the listing pages.
  • Categories: Select one or more categories to organize your blog post.
  • Save: Click this button to save your settings and create the new post.
2
Complete the post creation popup
Click Create, fill in the title, short description, URL path, image, and categories, then click Save.

Use a clear URL path and category
A clear URL path helps readers understand the page topic, while categories help organize your blog posts for easier browsing.

Customize the post content

After saving, your blog post will be displayed. The settings you have just defined can be changed later if you wish.

To customize the content of the new post, click on the three dots and then select Edit, or click on the name of the post.

3
Open the post editor
From the post list, click the three dots and select Edit, or click the post name directly to edit the post content.
