Details about the fields required when creating a blog category

In this article, you will learn in detail where the fields entered during the creation of a blog category will appear.

Create a blog category

To create a category, navigate to the Categories section on your blog, then click Create.

A popup will appear with the fields explained below.

Field 1: Name

Enter a name for your category.

Field 2: Path

The Path field controls the URL path of the category page.

The URL path is automatically generated based on the category name, with dashes separating the words. You can modify this path if you wish; it does not need to match the category name exactly.

Field 3: Description

Enter a description for your category.

Field 4: SEO title

The SEO title is used for search visibility and page sharing.

Field 5: SEO description

The SEO description gives search engines and social platforms a short summary of the category page.
