In this article, you will learn how to give your contacts free access to a course.

You will need:

  • A SystemeScale account
  • A sales funnel
  • A course

Method 1: Manually granting access to a course

You can add individual students manually directly from your course dashboard. For detailed instructions on this method, please refer to the following article: How to manually add students to a course.

Method 2: Automatically give a student access using an opt-in page

To grant access automatically when a user signs up (e.g., as a lead magnet), follow these steps to configure an opt-in funnel.

1
Create an opt-in page
Create a new sales funnel with an opt-in page and a thank you page. Select the opt-in page and click Edit page to open the editor.
2
Configure the opt-in form
Create an opt-in form inside the editor. The form must include at least one Form input set to the Email type, and a button set to the Submit form action.
3
Add an automation rule trigger
Close the editor and open the Automation rules tab on the same page. Click the Add rule button. Click on the (+) button to add a trigger and choose the Funnel step form subscribed trigger.
4
Set the enrollment action
To add an action, click on the (+) button next to it. Select the Enroll in course action.

Select your course from the dropdown menu and choose the access type:
  • Full access: Grants students immediate access to all course content.
  • Drip content: Grants gradual access to course content over time.
  • Partial access: Grants access only to specific modules within the course.
Click Save rule to apply your changes.

Now, when your students opt in on the opt-in page and click the submit form button, the automation rule will be triggered, enrolling them in the course automatically.

ℹ️
Seamless Experience
To provide a seamless experience, when a student clicks a course access link from their welcome email, they will be taken straight to that specific course immediately after logging in or creating their account. If a user tries to log in but does not actually have access to the course, they will simply be redirected to their standard student dashboard.
