In this article, you will learn how to add and configure a daily countdown timer that automatically resets every 24 hours at a time you specify.

What you will need:

  • A SystemeScale account
  • An active page layout

Step 1: Add the countdown element

A daily countdown timer is ideal for recurring daily deals, midnight cut-offs, or automated live webinar cycles that refresh every 24 hours.

1
Drag and drop the element
Open your page editor canvas screen. Go to the left panel selection list, find the Countdown element, and drag it directly onto your page layout canvas.

Step 2: Set the timer type to Daily

Once the element is on your canvas page, you need to change its operational settings behavior:

2
Select Daily from the menu settings
Click on the countdown timer module inside your canvas to view its configuration options on the left panel. Under the Countdown type dropdown list field, select Daily.
3
Set your daily target time
Directly below the type dropdown field, enter the specific hour and minute parameters when you want the countdown timer to finish and reset each day.

Step 3: Define your automatic expiration actions

You can choose exactly how the page behaves when the clock ticks down to 00:00:00:

  • Redirect the user to another page: Forwards the visitor automatically to an alternate landing URL step.
  • Do nothing: The counter pauses at zero values and leaves the visitor on the page.

Practical Layout Example
If a visitor loads your page at 11:30 AM, and you have configured your daily countdown target to end at 10:00 PM every evening, the live interface display will automatically show exactly 10 hours and 30 minutes remaining.
