What are the different methods to create a website?
On this page, you will learn how to create a website using SystemeScale.
You can create a website in different ways depending on the kind of site you want to build.
- Use the Blog feature if you intend to publish content regularly or need a website with many pages.
- Use the Sales Funnel feature if you want a simple website with a few pages.
- Use the Website feature directly if you want to build a regular website from the dedicated website area.
Which method should you choose?

1. Create a website using the blog feature
We recommend using the blog feature if you intend to publish content regularly and have many pages on your site.
What you will need
- A custom domain name already connected to SystemeScale
- A blog created in SystemeScale
Step 1: Add new pages to your blog
Click the Sites tab, then click Blogs. Open your blog by clicking its title.
Next, click the Pages tab, then click Create.
Enter the blog page name and its URL path in the popup window, then click Create a blog page.
Step 2: Set your blog homepage as your website homepage
When you create your blog, make sure the blog homepage becomes your websiteβs main homepage. This means the blog homepage should load from the main domain URL without extra paths.
Click the three-dot menu for your chosen blog, then click Settings.
Delete the text from the URL path field, leave the field empty, and click Save.
Step 3: Add the Menu element to your blog homepage
After setting your blog homepage as the website homepage, configure the default Menu element that appears on the page.
To configure your blog menu, click Blog layout. When the blog layout editor opens, click the Menu element on the page.
The blog layout controls elements that appear by default across your blog pages.
New menu items can link to blog pages, blog posts, or custom URLs. We recommend adding the same number of menu items as your blog pages so visitors can easily access all major pages from the homepage.
Blog menu settings you can customize
- Title: Enter the menu item name, such as Home.
- Type of link: Choose between Blog link or Custom URL.
- Menu item link: Select an existing blog page if using Blog link, or type the URL if using Custom URL.
- Open in a new window: Enable this if you want the link to open in a new tab or window.
- Delete: Remove the menu item from both the settings and the page.
- Has submenu: Enable or disable a submenu for that item.
- Open: Display submenu items inside the editor so you can preview and edit them.
- Submenu settings: Configure submenu items using the same options as main menu items.
- Add submenu item: Add a new submenu item.
- Add menu item: Create a new main menu item.
- Move menu item: Use the arrows to change the item position.
Make your blog menu sticky
You can make your menu sticky so it remains visible across the page.
Click the section containing the Menu element, then scroll down the editor settings on the left until you reach the Sticky section.
Tick Do you want this to always be visible (sticky)?, then choose whether the section should stick to the top or bottom of the page.
You can also adjust how far the sticky menu is positioned from the edge using the Indent option.
Step 4: Design your homepage and other blog pages
You can design your website pages according to your preferences.
Open the editor of the page you want to design by clicking Edit or by clicking the page name.
Inside the editor, delete elements you do not want, keep existing elements you need, or customize them to match your design.
Click any element to open its settings on the left side of the screen. You can modify typography, color, size, position, spacing, and other settings depending on the element.
You can also add new elements such as images, audio, video, buttons, forms, and other page components by dragging them onto the page.
2. Create a website using the sales funnel feature
If you want to create a simple website with only a few pages, we suggest using the sales funnel feature.
What you will need
- A custom domain name already connected to SystemeScale
- A funnel created in SystemeScale
Once you have created your funnel, add new funnel pages or steps to it. These funnel pages will act as your website pages. We recommend adding up to five pages to your funnel for this method.
Step 1: Create new website pages as funnel steps
Open your funnel, then click Add step.
Enter the page title, choose the page type, and click Save.
Select a template by clicking Select, then design the page according to your preferences.
Repeat this process for all website pages you want to create.
Step 2: Define one funnel page as your website homepage
Open your funnel, click the page you want to set as your homepage, and delete its URL path.
Only one page can be set as the homepage: either one of your blog pages, a website page, or a funnel page.
Step 3: Add the Menu element to your funnel homepage
After setting your funnel page as your website homepage, add and configure the Menu element.
Open the homepage editor, drag the Menu element, and drop it onto your page.
Add the same number of menu items as your website pages so visitors can access every page from the homepage.
To connect a menu item to a funnel page, go back to the funnel, open the page you want to link to, and copy its URL.
Return to the homepage editor, click the Menu element to open its settings, then click Add menu item. Enter the menu title and paste the copied page URL.
Repeat the same process for all website pages.
- Delete menu items with the trash icon.
- Rearrange menu items with the arrows.
- Save the menu as a master block if you want to reuse it on other website pages.
3. Create a website using the Website feature directly
You can also use the dedicated Website feature directly to create a website in SystemeScale.
This option is helpful when you want a more direct website-building workflow instead of using the blog or funnel method.
