How to define your domain's homepage
In this article, you will learn how to point your domain nameβs homepage to a blog, a website, a creator store, or a sales funnel page created with SystemeScale.
Your domain homepage is the page visitors see when they enter your domain without any extra path after it.
What you will need
- A SystemeScale account
- A blog, website, sales funnel page, or creator store
- A connected domain name
Before you begin
Make sure your domain has already been connected to SystemeScale.
After connecting your domain, you must define what should load when a visitor lands directly on your domain.
1. Set a blog as your homepage
To use a blog as your domain homepage, go to the Sites tab in your menu and click Blogs.
Click the three-dot menu, then click Settings.
Delete the text from the URL path field, leave the field empty, and click Save.
2. Set a sales funnel page as your homepage
To use a sales funnel page as your domain homepage, open the funnel page you want to set as the homepage.
Delete the text from the URL path field and leave the field empty.
After updating the path, the change is saved automatically.
3. Set a website as your homepage
To use a website as your domain homepage, go to the Sites tab in your menu and click Websites.
Click the three-dot menu, then click Settings.
Delete the text from the URL path field, leave the field empty, and click Save.
4. Set a creator store as your homepage
To use a creator store as your domain homepage, go to the Sites tab in your menu and click Creator stores.
Click the three-dot menu, then click Settings.
Delete the text from the URL path field, leave the field empty, and click Save at the bottom of the page.
Important notes
- The homepage should have an empty URL path.
- Do not enter
/into the URL path field; simply leave the field empty. - Use only one main homepage for a domain to avoid conflicts.
- If your homepage does not load immediately, refresh the page and check that your domain is connected correctly.
- If you recently connected your domain, DNS propagation may still be in progress.
