How to delete bounced contacts
On this page, you will learn how to identify and delete contacts with the Bounced status in your SystemeScale account.
Deleting bounced contacts helps maintain the quality of your list, improve email deliverability, reduce bounce risk, protect sender reputation, and keep campaigns more effective.
What you will need
- An active SystemeScale account
- An existing contact list where some contacts may have the Bounced status
- At least one contact with the Bounced status to follow the example
Step 1: Access your contacts
Navigate to the CRM tab and click Contacts in the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Filter bounced contacts
Click the Contact state filter and select Bounced.
The contact list will now display only contacts whose emails could not be delivered.
This makes it easier to view, manage, or delete contacts with the Bounced status.
Step 3: Delete bounced contacts
Select all bounced contacts by clicking the checkbox, then click Delete.
Step 4: Confirm deletion
After clicking Delete, a confirmation window appears.
Click Confirm to delete the selected contact or contacts from your list.
Before deleting bounced contacts
Before deleting contacts, make sure they are truly unusable and that you do not want to attempt contacting them again.
This is especially important if you are not sure whether the bounce is a hard bounce, temporary issue, or caused by a typo in the email address.
