In this article, you will learn how to create a tag in SystemeScale.

Tags help you identify and better manage contacts by organizing them into categories. Depending on their origin, status, or behavior, different tags can be assigned to contacts.

Why use tags?

Tags are useful for organizing contacts, customers, students, campaign subscribers, buyers, and other segments inside your CRM.

For example, you can assign the tag Client-course-1 to customers who purchased Course 1.

  • contacts for general leads
  • customers for buyers
  • students for course members
  • campaign for contacts added to a specific campaign
  • Client-course-1 for customers who purchased Course 1

  • Avoid duplicate tags with slightly different spellings.
  • Use consistent naming patterns, such as Source-Webinar, Buyer-Course-1, or Status-Student.
  • Review tag statistics to understand how each segment performs.
  • Use automation rules and workflows to apply tags automatically when contacts take important actions.
