In this article, you will learn how to add shipping fees to the sale of your physical products.

Setting up shipping parameters

To enable shipping fees, click on your profile picture, go to the Settings section, then click Shipping Settings.

Check the box for Enable shipping settings to start creating a shipping method.

🚚
Default shipping areas
By default, you will see the areas Domestic and International.

Create a shipping service

You can create shipping methods such as USPS, DHL, UPS, or any shipping service you use. Simply click Create shipping service.

A popup will appear asking you to enter the name of the shipping service. Enter the name, then click Save to confirm.

Create delivery zones

You can define delivery zones by choosing from the default ones or creating custom zones to include specific countries. To do this, click Create shipping zone.

A popup will appear to create a new zone. Choose the shipping zone and the countries, then click Save to confirm the new zone.

🌍
Use zones to control where each rule applies
Shipping zones let you separate domestic, international, or custom country groups so each area can have its own delivery options and fees.

Create shipping rules

Finally, set the shipping rules for your physical products by clicking Create shipping rule.

A popup will appear where you need to enter the name, currency, price, description, and rule conditions.

When creating a shipping rule, you have the option to create rules based on weight, order price, or quantity.

1. Based on item weight

You need to set a minimum weight, a maximum weight, and the shipping cost for this rule.

2. Based on order price

You must set a minimum price and maximum price for the order, plus a specific shipping price for your rule.

3. Based on quantity

You must choose the minimum quantity, maximum quantity, and a specific shipping price for your rule.

You can always add more shipping rule conditions by clicking Add shipping rule condition, or delete existing ones by clicking Remove rule condition.

After entering the rule details, click Save.

🧾
Saved rule details appear under the zone
After saving, you will see the shipping zone you created along with the details of the delivery rule.

Adding Shipping Fees on the order form

When adding physical products to an order form, you must include the Shipping Fees item by dragging the element into your page editor.

This will automatically display the applicable shipping rules based on the product specifications, allowing the customer to choose from the available shipping methods.

⚠️
Do not forget the Shipping Fees element
Shipping settings alone do not display shipping choices on the payment page. You must add the Shipping Fees element to the order form editor.

Disable shipping fees for a specific product

To disable shipping fees for a certain physical product, simply check the box Disable shipping fees for this product in the physical product settings.

βœ…
Use product-level disabling only when needed
This is useful when one physical product should not charge shipping even though shipping settings are enabled for your account.
