How to integrate your Twilio account in SystemeScale

In this article, you will learn how to connect your Twilio account to SystemeScale.

Once connected, your Twilio account can be used to send SMS messages through SystemeScale automation rules and workflow actions.

What you'll need

  • A SystemeScale account
  • A Twilio account
  • Your Twilio SID
  • Your Twilio Auth Token

Twilio is required for SMS sending
SystemeScale uses your connected Twilio account to send SMS messages from automation rules and workflow actions.

Open your SystemeScale settings

First, go to your Settings from the menu under your profile picture.

Click your profile picture
Open the profile menu from your SystemeScale account.

Open Settings
Click Settings to access your account settings area.

Open Integrations

In the menu on the left, scroll down to Integrations.

Once inside the Integrations section, click Twilio to connect it to your SystemeScale account.

Find Integrations
In the left-side settings menu, scroll down to Integrations.

Select Twilio
Click Twilio to open the Twilio connection popup.

Enter your Twilio credentials

A popup will appear where you need to enter your Twilio account credentials.

  • Twilio SID: A unique identifier that identifies your Twilio account.
  • Twilio Auth Token: A secret key used to securely authenticate API requests.

You can find both values in your Twilio dashboard under Account Info.

Copy the Twilio SID
Go to your Twilio dashboard and copy your Twilio SID from Account Info.

Copy the Twilio Auth Token
Copy your Twilio Auth Token from the same Account Info area.

Paste the credentials in SystemeScale
Paste the SID and Auth Token into the Twilio popup in SystemeScale.

Keep your Auth Token secure
Your Twilio Auth Token is a secret credential. Do not share it publicly, and update the Twilio integration in SystemeScale if your Twilio credentials change.

Save the Twilio integration

After entering your Twilio SID and Twilio Auth Token, click Save.

Once you click Save, a popup appears showing information such as the integration creation date, connection status, and your Twilio sender phone number.

After the connection is complete, your Twilio account will appear in your SystemeScale interface.

After saving, confirm that the Twilio integration appears in SystemeScale and that the status is active.

View or disconnect your Twilio account later

After your Twilio account is connected, you can click Twilio again to view the account information shown during setup.

If you need to remove the integration, click Disconnect.

Open Twilio again
Return to Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ Twilio.

Review or disconnect
Review the integration details or click Disconnect if you need to remove the connected Twilio account.

Important notes

  • Once your Twilio account is connected, you can send SMS messages through automation rules and workflow actions.
  • Make sure your Twilio phone number is messaging-enabled and verified to send SMS messages to your target countries.
  • Keep your Twilio Auth Token secure.
  • If you change your Twilio credentials, update them in SystemeScale to keep the connection active.

Before sending SMS messages, confirm that your Twilio number is enabled and verified for the countries you plan to message.
